Dream Big Darling Retreat Returns to the California Central Coast: June 24-26, 2025

Paso Robles, CA – April 8, 2025 – Dream Big Darling, the non-profit organization and platform focused on empowering emerging women in the wine and spirits industry, has announced plans for its 2025 in-person Dream Big Darling Retreat. Taking place June 24-26 at the picturesque V6 Ranch and in the town of Parkfield in California’s Central Coast, the intimate retreat is open to retreat scholarship recipients and will offer a unique combination of thought leader presentations, educational exercises and transformative nature outings—all focused on professional development, personal growth, and community building.

"Our aim is to directly connect the best and brightest women in the industry in a unique setting which allows for personal evolution, fun, and professionally rich content," says Amanda W. Higgins, Founder of Dream Big Darling. "There is nothing more powerful than in-person connection and the authentic relationships that result from valuable time together. Located just outside of the Paso Robles AVA, this year’s location, Parkfield, is a rural ranching community with enormous character, beautiful landscapes, and rancho hospitality…all creating the intimate and inspiring environment we know will greatly enrich this very special retreat.”

Category experts and program alumni including Higgins, Principal, Full Cup Solutions; Maeve Pasquera, CMO and EVP-Luxury, O’Neill Vintners & Distillers; Nancy Ulloa, Owner and Winemaker, Ulloa Cellars; Justin Trabue, Owner & Wine Witch, Ward Four Wines, and Erin Kischenmann, Managing Editor, Wine Business Monthly will lead discussions on topics including Harnessing Your Professional Power, Understanding Numbers & Risk, and Charting a Professional Course. The agenda also includes one-on-one mentoring sessions, horseback rides, nature walks, live music concerts and more.

25 slots for scholarship recipients (value of $5,000 per person) are available with a deadline of May 15th. Female recipients in the wine and spirits industries from the U.S. and abroad are eligible; in keeping with Dream Big Darling’s mission to support women emerging in their fields, the organization seeks candidates in earlier stages of their career.

The scholarship includes shuttle service to and from San Luis Obispo Airport to Parkfield Lodge and accommodations for two nights at the lodge, as well as assorted meals on retreat days. Please note there will be a $250 administrative fee for all accepted applications and that the scholarship does not cover airfare or travel expenses.
